The Film and TV Production students from Templemore College of Further Education recently had a premiere screening of the films they made as part of their Film Studies module.
The screening was in the Source Theatre in Thurles and was attended by the students, their families and staff from the college and Tipperary ETB.
Each student wrote their own movie script and edited the finished product.
They also acted, found locations, directed, did lighting and camera work on the various films.
The students were complemented for their creativity and skills.
This was a first foray into film making by the majority, so the students were challenged by the task.
They were mentored throughout the process by Anthony Hughes.
There were sad stories of war, heart-warming stories of family, tales of obsession and more.
The event was a showcase of passion and hard work, resulting in films that entertained and moved the audience.
The college asks that if you are interested in taking part in the course, to please contact them.
