South Tipperary Arts Centre recognise creativity in youth with special celebration

This year, South Tipperary Arts Centre celebrated Cruinniú na nÓg by taking inspiration from a colouring book produced by animator John Power for STAC back in 2006.

‘Bruno’s Adventures by the Suir' focused on the adventures of Bruno the Otter as he spends a day showing us around his home by the Suir in Clonmel.

Their team of tutors were on hand to deliver a host of arts and craft activities for all ages related to the environment by the Suir and Bruno’s adventures, as Mary Hickey entertained a captive audience with her magical storytelling.

They also welcomed John Power on the day, who brought along some of his original animation cel drawings from the film classics "An American Tail," and "Anastasia."
