Local Tipperary Men's Shed selected to host national camp

Clogheen Men's Shed has been selected by the Irish Men's Shed association as the venue to host the "Sheds For Life" programme in Autumn 2024.

This programme will run for a period of ten weeks, taking place each Wednesday morning for three hours, from 10am to 1pm.

The programme will commence on Wednesday September 25 and conclude on Wednesday November 27.

"Sheds for Life" is a health and well-being programme that will cover a range of areas to support Men's physical, mental and social well-being, and is open to all men over the age of 50.

You do not need to be a member of a Men's Shed to take part in this programme.

If you are interested, contact Clogheen Men's Shed by calling in on Monday, Wednesday or Friday between the hours of 10am to 12pm, or by phoning 087 380 8903 or 086 848 7761.

As some of the tutors will be travelling to Clogheen from Dublin, it will be required that you attend at least eight out of the ten sessions.

This course is free of charge and is being run under the auspices of the Irish Men's Shed Association.

The Men's Shed would also like to express their thanks to St Paul's Community Council for allowing them to use the Community Centre for the ten weeks.
