At last week’s County Board meeting in Thurles, Brendan Cummins was ratified as U20 hurling manager for another two years.
The former Tipperary goalkeeper has been manager for the last three years, reaching a Munster final in 2022, but fell at the semi-final stage a year later, before this year being crowned Munster champions before falling to Offaly in the All-Ireland Final.
Cummins will have the vast majority of the team which was that All-Ireland final to Offaly underage again next year, and he will be hoping that he can take his charges one step further in 2025.
