Pure Bred 4 star Angus Heifer is the top prize in the new Friends of Tipperary Football fundraiser.
The Friends of Tipperary football have announced the details of another fantastic fundraiser. They are inviting everyone along to join them for the launch of the Underage Football Development Fundraiser on Monday evening, Sept 9th, at 7:30pm in Annacarty!
This new fundraiser will ensure the next generation of Tipperary players are in with a top class chance of progressing through the grades to play at the highest level.
A statement from the Friends of Tipperary Football said that: "A huge thank you to Con Quinn for making this happen!
"We’re thrilled to have Peter Keane, former Kerry football manager, attending this special event as well as former Tipperary All-Ireland winning minor manager David Power. The MC on the night will be Paul Collins.
"Let’s come together to support our young athletes and help them reach their full potential," it read.
The youth development of Tipperary footballers has come centre stage in recent times as it offers the best opportunity to push on and reach the top level in the game.
The proceeds of this draw will go directly to the cause. The top prize is a Pure Bred 4 star Angus Heifer which is in calf to a 5 star Angus bull from Knockantibrien Pedigree Angus herd.
Other prizes include 2 nights bed and breakfast for a family at the Hotel Minella in Clonmel, an overnight stay in the Horse and Jockey hotel as well as tickets to the All-Ireland final in football and hurling for next season so the prices are top class.
The draw is set to be held in Annacarthy on the 30th of November. It is a new and important fundraiser and tickets will be on sale across the county and beyond over the coming weeks.
The launch takes place in Annacarthy, where the draw itself will be. What is unique about this is that the proceeds will all go to benefit youth development and football countywide.
The Friends of Tipperary Football have been an invaluable support to Tipperary teams for many years.
