Lotto players in the Nenagh area are being encouraged to check their tickets thoroughly this Thursday morning, as one player from the midweek draw matched five numbers and the bonus, winning €78,038.
The Tipperary winner secured their prize after buying a Quick Pick ticket on Tuesday, August 27, at Lidl Nenagh located on Martyrs Road in Nenagh, Co Tipperary. The winning numbers from the Lotto draw on Wednesday, August 28, were: 02, 15, 18, 27, 29, 38, with the bonus number being 30.
A National Lottery spokesperson advised, "We urge Lotto players who purchased tickets at the Lidl Nenagh store to check their tickets today, as one of them is now worth €78,038."
The winner is recommended to sign the back of their ticket and keep it secure. They should then reach out to the National Lottery prize claims team by calling 1800 666 222 or emailing claims@lottery.ie to arrange the collection of their prize at Lottery Headquarters.
