County Tipperary Chamber and Skillnet have announced a number of training courses to commence over the coming months.
"Lunch and Learn" will take place on Tuesday, October 22, from 1pm to 2pm.
This course will be a webinar tailored specifically for SME business owners aiming to finish the year on a high note.
In this free session, Lissa McPhillips will provide a practical five-step action plan to supercharge your sales and achieve your year-end revenue goals.
A Microsoft Excel course will take place on Wednesday, October 23, from 9:30am to 4:30pm.
At the end of the course participants will have a solid knowledge of how to set-up and manipulate data within Excel.
This introduction level is important for anyone who wishes to go on to Intermediate and Advanced level at a later time.
A technical writing skills course will occur on September 24 and 25, costing €299.
Among the topics covered will be a guide to producing a great document, common grammatical and formatting errors, and an analytics walkthrough.
The Horse & Jockey Hotel will host a free coaching skills for management workshop on October 16 and 17, from 9:30am to 4:30pm.
Topics to be covered include defining what coaching is and understand the managers role in the process, learning how to create a positive coaching environment, approaching challenging feedback situations with confidence, and using a "coaching framework" to provide successful coaching conversations.
