This grou enjoyed the Positive Ageing Week activities in Fethard

The Fethard and District Day Care Centre celebrated Positive Ageing in the community.
Positive Ageing week started off in Holy Trinity Parish Church, Fethard with Mass and Blessing of the sick, which was concelebrated by Fr’s Liam, Tom and Henry.
Fr Liam spoke of the importance of keeping up to date with current affairs and meeting people as we age. He praised the many activities that Day Care offers every day, from exercises, arts, crafts to day trips. To hot meals, either in Day Care or delivered by the Meals On Wheels facility. Or simply reading the newspaper and having a chat with friends.
Mass was followed by refreshments in the Presentation Convent Chapel, prepared by the Daycare kitchen, helped by Patrician Presentation School students.
If anyone would like to avail of Daycares services, please contact your GP, Public Health Nurse or call in to Daycares offices.
