Tipperary venues packed to capacity to see a new film  on the burning of Bridget Cleary

The new short film by the Fionn MacCumhaill Players premiered in Cloneen to a packed house in Cloneen Sport's and Social Club.
The red carpet was out and the stars of "Bridget" shone to great effect on the big screen.

The sad story about the burning of Bridget Cleary murdered by her husband in 1895 has long since been a talking point around the world as in the village and the locality. 

SOLD OUT
There were sold out venues in Fethard and Cloneen. The film will be screened in Mullinahone on November 16 and in The Source in Thurles on November 27.
Well done to Cloneen Sports Hall committee for the huge effort they put in for the occasion and the venue was looking splendid.
