County premier intermediate hurling champions Cashel King Cormacs are back in AIB Munster Intermediate Club action this Sunday when they face Kerry Senior champions Abbeydorney in Abbeydorney at 1.15pm.
Cashel King Cormacs booked their place in the semi-final on Sunday November 3rd following a 0-20 to 2-13 victory over Limerick champions Newcastlewest in Newcastlewest.
Abbeydorney needed extra-time before seeing off Waterford champions Brickey Rangers 0-25 to 0-24 at Fraher Field, Dungarvan.
The second semi-final will see Watergrasshill (Cork) face Wolfe Tones (Clare) on Saturday November 16th in Pairc Ui Rinn at 1.15pm.
It will be the second time Cashel King Cormacs have faced Kerry option in the competition.
In 2018 they represented the county following Thurles Sarsfields second team victory in the County Final. On that occasion they were defeated in the quarter final by Lixnaw, 1-16 to 1-13.
Cashel King Cormac’s victory in the quarter final was the first victory for a team from west Tipperary in the competition.
