FIXTURES: See the full rundown of action ahead of the Tipperary club hurling championships!

The Tipperary club hurling season kicks into full gear this weekend with a bumper schedule of games across the county. A host of Senior, Premier Intermediate, and Intermediate clashes are set to light up pitches from Borrisoleigh to Templederry, with rivalries renewed and championship dreams beginning to take shape.

Senior Hurling Championship 

In Group 1 of the Senior Hurling Championship, Toomevara take on Holycross Ballycahill under lights in Borrisoleigh on Saturday evening at 7pm. Also in Group 1, Kiladangan begin their campaign on Sunday at 1pm against Clonoulty Rossmore in Templederry.

Cashel King Cormacs face CJK Mullinahone in Group 2 action on Sunday in Littleton, while Thurles Sarsfields begin their title charge at 4.30pm on Saturday against Nenagh Éire Óg in Ragg — one of the weekend's marquee matchups.

Group 3 sees JK Brackens meet Lorrha Dorrha in Nenagh at 6pm on Sunday, while 2021 champions Drom & Inch play Loughmore Castleiney at 7pm on Saturday in Templemore in what promises to be another cracking contest.

In Group 4, Roscrea face Moycarkey Borris on Saturday at 5pm in Templemore, followed by Kilruane MacDonaghs against Borris-Ileigh in Dolla on Sunday afternoon.

Group 3: Sun 10th, 6.00pm: JK Brackens vs Lorrha Dorrha – Nenagh; Sat 9th, 7.00pm: Drom and Inch vs Loughmore Castleiney – Templemore

Group 4: Sat 9th, 5.00pm: Roscrea vs Moycarkey Borris – Templemore; Sun 10th, 1.00pm: Kilruane MacDonaghs vs Borris-Ileigh – Dolla

Premier Intermediate 

Premier Intermediate Group 1 opens with Thurles Sarsfields' second team facing Sean Treacys on Sunday evening in Drombane, while Moyne Templetuohy clash with Gortnahoe Glengoole on Friday night in Boherlahan.

Silvermines face Boherlahan Dualla in Group 2 on Saturday in Borrisoleigh, with Templederry Kenyons meeting Éire Óg Annacarty on Sunday in Kilcommon.

Moneygall take on Upperchurch Drombane’s second team in Dolla in Group 3, while Ballina face Burgess on Friday evening in Templederry. In Group 4, Killenaule go up against St Mary’s in Monroe, and Carrick Swan meet Clonakenny in Boherlahan.

Intermediate Championship

The Intermediate ranks are just as competitive, with Group 1 seeing Portroe meet Cappawhite in Newport on Friday night, and Moyle Rovers facing Skeheenarinky in Cahir on Sunday.

In Group 2, Ballingarry and Knockavilla Kickhams meet on Saturday in Holycross, while Clonoulty Rossmore’s second team host Drom & Inch on Sunday.

Borrisokane and Arravale Rovers square off in Templederry on Saturday evening in Group 3, with Carrick Davins meeting Newport on Sunday in Cashel.

Finally, Group 4 sees Ballybacon Grange take on Golden Kilfeacle in Bansha, and Kilshane Kilcash meet Shannon Rovers in Templetuohy on Sunday at 6pm.

With fixtures spread across the county and games taking place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, this weekend marks a thrilling start to the championship calendar.
