Community comes together to fundraise for teenager in Tipperary village

A fundraising event has been organised for a 15 year-old boy living in Clogheen, Tipperary.

Cian from Clogheen who has recently been diagnosed with kidney failure and as a result he must travel to Dublin three times a week for dialysis.

A fundraising event is being organised to help Cian and his family during this challenging time.

Organisers say: "We are holding a coffee morning in St. Paul’s Community Centre Clogheen on the February 14 from 10am to 1pm.

"In conjunction with the coffee morning, we are also organising a raffle. Tickets will be on sale in the XL shop Clogheen on February 7 and at the coffee morning.

"If you would like to donate a prize for the raffle, please drop it into the fruit and veg shop in Clogheen.

You may have unused gifts at home or bottles that you wish to donate. All donations will be appreciated. We wish Cian the best on his road to recovery and look forward to seeing him back in Clogheen in full health soon."
