NEWS: Cashel welcomes everyone to an open meeting to shape our summer plans for 2026

Whether you are a business owner, part of a club, a community group, or simply passionate about Cashel’s future, this meeting is for you.

The Cashel Chamber of Commerce warmly welcomes everyone to an open meeting to shape our summer plans for 2026. Join us on Sunday, 15 February at 12:30pm in Halla Na Féile.

Whether you are a business owner, part of a club, a community group, or simply passionate about Cashel’s future, this meeting is for you.

The meeting will focus on the following areas:

• Increasing visitor numbers in the town centre

• Supporting local businesses

• Organizing regular events and reasons for people to visit the town, all planned together by the community

Proposed Summer Activities on the Plaza

Imagine lively Saturdays on the Plaza, filled with music and community spirit, every week in June and July from 12pm to 3pm.

We have reached out to Tipperary County Council for seed funding and anticipate receiving between €500 and €1,000 to kick things off.

Thank you to Councillor Declan Burgess for helping with the grant application. Given the limited funding available, collaboration is essential. We invite expressions of interest from the following groups:

• Musicians, singers, and bands

• Dancers and performance groups

• Clubs and community groups

• Volunteers interested in helping bring people into town, interested in supporting or participating

This meeting is all about sharing ideas, joining forces, and turning plans into action. Our focus is on collaboration, not politics. Committed to making Cashel town centre more active and welcoming this summer, we encourage you to join us.

Together, we can build stronger community bonds and help Cashel thrive.
