Minister Darragh Calleary announced that 110 more areas in 20 counties are now eligible to apply for programme funding.
Tipperary is celebrating as more local areas become eligible for Clár funding thanks to the programme’s recent expansion.
Next year, the programme will spend €12 million to help small building projects in communities where fewer people now live.

Together, these newly included communities are home to almost 150,000 people.
Senator Imelda Goldsboro confirmed that Bansha, Tullamaine, Mullinahone, New Birmingham, and Killenaule have been added in South Tipperary.
Deputy Ryan O’Meara welcomed the inclusion of Borrisokane, Borrisoleigh, Clonoulty East, and Littleton in North Tipperary.
