The Tipperary Warriors Multi Sport Club for children with physical disabilites was launched in Thurles recently in the Presentation School Sports Complex.

There was a great turnout on the night and the organisers would like to thank Cllr. Seamus Hanafin, Lucy McLaughlin and Ann Bolton from Tipperary Centre for Independent Living (TCIL) for their very generous donation. They would also like to say a very big thank you to Paul Ryan and Joanne Wall from the Irish Wheelchair Association Sport and also to Elaine Cullinan from Tipperary Sports Partnership.

The next club night is Wednesday13th December. The club will then break for Christmas and resume on Saturday 13th January from 11am to 12.30.

This club is aimed at children with physical disabilites aged 5-17 years and their siblings. It is run by parents and volunteers and is supported by Tipperary Sports Partnership and the Irish Wheelchair Association.
