The Mullinahone team are all set for Saturday's All-Ireland final at Croke Park
Mullinahone and Longford Slashers, the finalists in Saturday's currentaccount.ie All-Ireland Ladies Football Intermediate Club Championship final will be gracing Croke Park for the very first time.
It has been a remarkable rise for Mullinahone this year, considering they contested a currentaccount.ie All-Ireland Junior final against winners St Jude's from Dublin last February.
Mullinahone came through a thrilling semi-final against Fermanagh opponents Derrygonnelly Harps after extra-time, while Longford Slashers got the better of Mayo side Charlestown to book their place in the final.
Longford Slashers will become the very first team from Longford to compete in an All-Ireland Club final, while Mullinahone will hope to emulate the feat of fellow Tipperary club Brian Borus in 2009 by winning the Intermediate Club title.
The match starts at 3pm and will be followed at 5pm by the All-Ireland senior final between holders Kilkerrin-Clonberne from Galway and five-time winners Donaghmoyne from Monaghan.
Both games will be shown live on TG4.
