Tipperary County Council have announced their decision to close the L2133-17(Coum Road) Scragg, Ballywilliam, in Nenagh as a matter of urgency due to emergency bridge repairs taking place.
The road will be closed from 16.00hrs on Friday 20 December 2024 to 16.00hrs on the 24 January 2025.
The council have suggested the following alternative routes be taken by motorists during the period of this closure: Traffic travelling north will be diverted by Burgess Graveyard (L21332-0) and onwards to Frawley's Lane the L21334-0 re-joining the L2133-17 at Burgesbeg.

Traffic travelling south on the L2133-17 from Coum will be diverted by Carrigeen (L6047-0) towards Ballyhogan the L6046-0 and onwards to Ballywilliam Church the L2139-0.
