The fabulous Honda Civic

The new 1.6l diesel engine Honda Civic is a smashing car to drive as we found out when we took one from Denis Kinane Honda in Thurles.

”You'll be really impressed by this one. I guarantee you that.”
The words of Denis Kinane as The Tipperary Star took possession of the new 1.6litre diesel engine Honda Civic from the fabulous forecourt at Stradavoher, Thurles were indeed prophetic as the Civic dutifully carried out its functions with more than a little aplomb.
Generally regarded as one of the finest engine makers in the business, Honda have refined their 1.6litre engine to such a degree and have included such high spec in their new Civic, that it can only be described as a simply wonderful drive.
For the petrol heads out there who love their Civic in that mode, well there is ample choice, but for class, sophistication, a comfortable vehicle and a great driving experience, it has to be the 1.6litre diesel version of the outstanding Civic.
Whether a brand new car for test drive, or a used car, you always get a supremely turned out vehicle from Denis Kinane Honda. The neat, tidy showrooms and forecourt are a reflection of the vehicles which are parked up there ready for customers to take a spin. And, if your budget does not quite stretch to a new vehicle, Denis Kinane Honda has some real quality cars at very competitive prices.
Back to the Civic though and a spin in one of the classiest looking cars around in its marque. The Civic oozes sophistication and style and what it celebrates in design is also enhanced by way of performance. This engine is willing and able with great pick-up and power and the smoothest manual transmission imaginable.

Inside the cabin, the Civic is bigger than you might think. The slinky, low profile roof which gives way to the hatchback, conceals a spacious interior with ample room for three backseat passangers and loads of comfort for everyone on board. Honda engineering has ensured that there is a very impressive dashboard with all that you might expect from a top vehicle, and a little more besides too - the reversing camera is about the clearest and most accurate, you will come across for instance.
The Civic is low to the ground and that makes for great holding on the road and a very comfortable drive. It is also one of the easiest cars to drive and there is no doubting the quality materials that have been utilised in the creation of this machine.
Denis Kinane is a long time in this motoring game and has seen quite a few cars coming and going, in and out of his forecourt. So, when he willingly espouses and testifies to the credentials of the 1.6litre diesel Honda Civic, you'd be inclined to take notice. Granted the Civic has always had a great name, but it would appear that Denis is right about this one - we were really impressed and would recommend a spin out in this beauty if you are in the market for a new or used car.
