A product safety issue has been identified with a mountain bike sold in Ireland.
According to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), the Decathlon ROCKRIDER XC 500S (model code 8614814) presents a risk of injuries.
A fault with the Manitou Machete 120mm Fork could lead to the fork failing, creating a risk whereby the plunger could break during normal use. This may lead to falls from the bike and possible injuries such as fractures and/or bruising.
There are approximately 2 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.
Decathlon are asking customers to follow this link to see if they have an affected product.
Any affected customers can send the product to any Decathlon Store for repair.
