The ERAY electric lunch box that has been recalled by the CPCC
WIRING IN an electric lunch box that has been sold by Amazon presents a rick of electric shock.
In an information notice by the competition and consumer protection commission(CPCC) they stated that the product does not comply with the requirements of the relevant safety standards.
There is insufficient insulation of live parts which can lead the user to suffer an electric shock.
The brand is Eray and is sold through Amazon. There are approximately one affects product in the Republic of Ireland.
The CPCC recommend if you have purchased this lunch box to discontinue use immediately and to contact Amazon to see if there are any remedies available.
