One lucky Irish lottery player has scooped almost a quarter of a million euros in Friday night's EuroMillions draw as players urged to check their tickets.
There was no winner of last night’s EuroMillions jackpot worth over €73 million meaning Tuesday’s jackpot is set to roll towards an estimated €80 million.

However, there was good news for one Irish player who matched five numbers and one lucky star to win €243,254.
The winning Quick Pick ticket was sold in the Lidl store in Ballymun, Dublin 9 and EuroMillions players in North Dublin are being urged to check their tickets very carefully today.
Meanwhile, tonight’s Lotto jackpot is also continuing to grow and is set to roll to an estimated €6.5 million.
