A MAN has been arrested and charged after gardai recovered a large quantity of stolen electronics.
A premises is Dublin was searched on Monday evening after gardai identified the location using the "Find My" app which was installed on a stolen laptop.
The owner of the laptop had reported to gardai that it was stolen while he was socialising in a pub in Dublin City Centre.
"He reported it to us at Store Street garda station and let us know of the address that he was able to track it to via the 'Find My' app," said a garda spokesperson via social media.
Yesterday evening, we visited this address and recovered the laptop along with some other stolen items that we are yet to reunite with their owners.

When they subsequently called to the premises, gardai located more than a dozen other electronic items which had all been stolen.
The items include phones, laptops, tablets and digital cameras.
"We arrested one man who has since been charged with 17 counts of possessing stolen property and will appear in court today (Tuesday)," said the spokesperson.
