Six men have been arrested after the seizure of 21 million euros of cocaine at a Co Limerick port.
An estimated 300kg of cocaine was seized on a cargo vessel at the port of Foynes on Tuesday.
On Friday, gardai arrested five men, aged 50, 46, 44, 41 and 35, on suspicion of the importation of controlled drugs.
Later, a sixth man, aged 32, was arrested on suspicion of the same offence.
They were being detained at Garda stations in the Limerick area.
A Garda spokesman said a search of the vessel, being led by officials from Revenue Customs Service, is continuing, as is the Garda investigation.
