A woman aged in her 30s arrested in connection to the murder of Michael Foley (61) has been released without charge.
According to An Garda Síochána, the woman was released following her arrest on Valentine's Day (Wednesday February 14), while a man (also aged in his 30s) arrested the same day remains detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Michael Foley was found deceased at his home in Macroom, Co Cork on Tuesday February 6, 2024 at approximately 1pm.
Investigations are ongoing.
