Gardaí have issued an update on the wellbeing of a missing 12 year-old girl after standing down their search this afternoon.
Lidiya Mehari had been reported missing since Saturday 13th July from the John B Keane Road in Listowel, Co Kerry, with an urgent missing person appeal issued by gardaí earlier today.
Gardaí had said in a statement that Lidiya's family had been concerned for her welfare.
Gardaí have now confirmed that Lidiya was "located safe and well".
In a statement, gardaí thanked "the public and media for their assistance".
