Gardai are appealing for witnesses after two people were hospitalised following a serious road traffic collision in County Limerick.
The single-vehicle incident occurred on the R503 at Drominboy, Lisnagry - close to Limerick city - at approximately 8.40pm on Tuesday.
According to gardai, the male driver and female passenger of the car sustained 'serious injuries' and was later were conveyed to University Hospital Limerick for treatment - both are aged in their 20s.
"The scene is preserved for technical examination by Forensic Collision Investigators, and local diversions are in place," said a spokesperson who appealed to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to come forward.
Road users with camera footage, including dash-cam, who were traveling on the R503 road near Lisnagry between 7.45pm and 8.45pm on Tuesday, are asked to make this footage available to gardaí.
