Driver arrested after gardaí clock car travelling insane speed on motorway
Gardaí say that they detected a driver travelling over 176km/h on the M1 in Drogheda recently.
Sharing a photo of the car in question on X, gardaí said that the Drogheda Roads Policing Unit clocked the car going 56km/h over the speed limit of 120km/h.
The driver was pulled over by gardaí and arrested. He is due to appear before the courts at a later date.
The driver of this car was clocked by Drogheda Roads Policing Unit travelling 176km/h along the M1 where the limit is the same as every other motorway in Ireland: 120km/h.
