Traffic management measures to  operate for two months on road in Nenagh area

Tipperary County Council has given notice that temporary traffic management measures will operate on the R498 at Latteragh,  Nenagh for two months starting next Monday, January 22 to facilitate road realignment works. 

The traffic management measures will operate from 7am to 7pm daily for the duration of the works on the R498 Realignment at Latteragh project between January 22 and March 22

Tipperary County Council has appointed Coir Infrastructure Limited to carry out an Advanced Works Contract for this road project.  
The proposed advance works include construction of boundary fencing, site clearance of existing mature trees and vegetation and construction of provisions for temporary utilities diversions along the corridor of the scheme. 

These works are scheduled to commence next Monday and are expected to take approximately with weeks to complete.  

The Council  has advised motorists that the temporary traffic management may cause some delays.
