Huge lotto win in Nenagh as National Lottery urges people to check tickets
There has been lots of excitement in Tipperary as one lucky Nenagh player has scooped €78,038 in Wednesday's National Lottery draw.
The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on Tuesday August 27 at Lidl Nenagh on Martyrs Road in Nenagh, County Tipperary.
Midweek lotto players in Nenagh are being urged to carefully check their tickets as the prize fund has yet to be claimed.
The lucky Tipp player matched five numbers and the bonus to win the huge prize. The winning numbers in the Wednesday draw were 02, 15, 18, 27, 29, 38 and the bonus was 30.
The winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and to keep it safe. National Lottery spokesperson Sarah Orr advises: "The winner should make contact with our prize claims team who will make arrangements for them to visit our Winners Room to pick up their prize-winning cheque."
As there was no outright winner of Wednesday's jackpot, the Saturday jackpot is now set to roll towards an estimated €3 million.
