A unique weekly online market is coming to Nenagh offering customers an easy and convenient way of shopping for food that is fresh, high quality, and locally grown or produced.

Salads, vegetables, eggs, meat, cheese, honey and bread are on offer. There are tasty treats, chutneys, pickles, jams, beautiful seasonal flowers, and crafts - perfect as gifts.

Over 20 producers are part of the online market. They include well established organic farmers such as Larkins Hill Farm in Puckane, Sheepwalk Farm in Borrisokane and Cloncannon Biofarm near Roscrea; a start-up bakery in Toomevara; and Cloughjordan beekeeper Garry Thomson.

“We're incredibly proud of our suppliers, who are farming, growing and producing locally,” said market manager Iva Pocock. “The online market is bringing their excellent produce to customers in and around Nenagh, allowing them to conveniently shop for exceptionally fresh, local, seasonal and nutritious produce.”

“Shoppers simply browse the online market, add items to their cart and pay by midnight each Tuesday. They then collect their shopping on Thursday evening between 5.30pm and 6.30pm at our collection point in Stereame.”

The Nenagh market goes live online on Wednesday 7th May, with final orders due by midnight Tuesday 20th May. The first Nenagh collection will be on Thursday 22nd May. Thereafter the market will be weekly.

The Nenagh collection point is located at Unit 19 Springfort Light Industrial Park, E45 FX27, in Stereame, off the Limerick Road.

The North Tipperary Online Farmers Market has been trading since 2021 with a collection point in Cloughjordan. The expansion to Nenagh is being supported by the Department of Agriculture, Food & Marine's fund for promoting Short Food Chains, launched last year by Pippa Hackett, the then junior Minister for Agriculture.
