Tipp international star receives Player of the Year accolade for third successive year

Tipperary's Amee Leigh Murphy Crowe picked up the Guinness Rugby Writers of Ireland Women’s 7s Player of the Year following standout performances which saw Ireland send their first-ever Women's Rugby 7s team to an Olympic Games last summer in Paris.

For the third time in her career, the Tipperary Town native has been bestowed with the award after being a standout performer for Ireland in their historic first-ever Olympic Games in Paris.

Murphy Crowe also helped secure the Women’s squad’s first-ever World Series Gold Medal last season, with a crucial try in the final against Australia.
