Brighton teen becomes youngest Irish player to score in Premier League after netting against Arsenal

Republic of Ireland international Evan Ferguson has made history by becoming Brighton and Ireland's youngest Premier League goalscorer after finding the net against table-toppers Arsenal on Saturday.

The 18-year-old came off the bench in the 60th minute to score Brighton's second goal in the 77th minute as the Seagulls were defeated 4-2 at the Amex Stadium.

The former Bohemians attacker made his senior international debut against Norway at the Aviva Stadium last November.
