A Tipperary secondary school has had a massive extension confirmed, according to Tipperary South TD, Michael Murphy.
Deputy Murphy said: "Great news for Cashel Community School with the announcement on Friday of the approval for an extension under the 'Additional Accommodation Scheme'.

"This proposed new extension will provide the following accommodation at the school includes:
Six Mainstream Classrooms
Two SEN Classrooms (Special Educational Needs)
One Design/Computer Graphics Classroom
One Staffroom and Ancillary
"Well done to all involved in this 'Centre of Educational Excellence', that is Cashel Community School.
"Since elected at the national level, I been working closely with the school to get this approval over the line."
