The Cullen Lattin team that played the first-ever Premier League game at Aisling Park in Cullen
Cullen/Lattin 1 – 3 Cahir Park
A historic day at Aisling Park in Cullen — the first-ever Premier League game at the venue — ended with visitors Cahir Park claiming the points after a lively contest.
Cahir struck early when Rhys Byron pressed the Cullen defence and squared for Ryan St John, who finished smartly from 15 yards on eight minutes.
Things got worse for the hosts seven minutes later when a header from Niall Daly was adjudged to have struck a hand in the box. Daly stepped up himself to convert the penalty and make it 2–0.

Cullen grew into the game, testing Evan O’Neill in the Cahir goal through efforts from Dylan McGrath and Tony O’Neill, while at the other end Daly and Byron continued to threaten.
The home side reshaped after the break and were rewarded when Tony O’Neill cut inside from the right and drilled a fine left-footed shot into the bottom corner of the net on 55 minutes.

Cullen pushed hard for an equaliser, O’Neill rattling the upright and McGrath going close after a skilful run, but Cahir held firm.
With five minutes remaining, Hichem Berim finished a swift counter attack to seal the victory.
It was a spirited second half showing from Cullen, but Cahir’s cutting edge proved decisive.
