Former Tipperary hurler Michael Cahill has recently opened a new physiotherapy clinic, Michael Cahill Chartered Physiotherapy, in his home town of Thurles.
Michael will be operating out of Thurles Sarsfields GAA clubhouse next to Semple stadium, every Monday, Wednesday & Friday, with openings from early morning to late evening.
Michael qualified from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2018, gaining experience in University Hospital Limerick before moving to Goldstandard Physiotherapy in Nenagh where he has developed and refined his skillset in recent years.
Following on from his sporting background, Michael has also worked with sports teams such as the Tipperary minors, Thurles C.B.S and a number of club teams in the Thurles and wider Tipperary area.
Michael Cahill Chartered Physiotherapy will adopt a hands-on approach and offer up-to-date evidence-based treatment with their patients. They aim to optimise one’s health and wellbeing as well as tackling the patient’s main issues, be it pain, mobility or other.
The clinic will treat a wide range of injuries including low back, neck, hip, knee & ankle. Michael will cater to a broad audience, treating not only sports injuries, but those as young as school-going age up to elderly with mobility issues.
