HER MOVES is a Sport Ireland initiative designed to inspire and support more teenage girls to be active. 

It's about empowering all young women, building confidence and providing motivation to find something that gets you moving. 

This is a community for all teenage girls to join and FIND SOMETHING THAT MOVES YOU!

Research shows that if girls enjoy something socially, they will do it more often and stay with it longer. 

We are using ‘something that moves you’ in both senses of the word. 

Something that gets your body moving and heart rate going. And more importantly something that you enjoy.

Her Moves is a no-judgement zone – where everyone can find an activity they enjoy in their own unique way. 

It’s about having fun with friends and mixing movement with what teenage girls love – music, arts, fashion, food with FUN at the heart of everything we’re about.

We all feel better when we move. 

So, we’re teaming up across the industry to create Her Moves resources for parents, guardians, teachers, coaches and providers who all play a vital role in promoting an active lifestyle for teenage girls.
