Remote or hybrid working from Tipperary? This co-working space has everything you need

Republic of Work has achieved another milestone as its hub at Clonmel celebrates its first birthday.

The co-working space, which is headquartered in Cork City, is also a place for networking with like minded entrepreneurs, and a dynamic environment in which start-ups can grow to the next level.

The Clonmel office on Dr Croke Place offers a variety of memberships for remote and hybrid workers in the Tipperary area.

Members can also utilise meeting rooms, access Republic of Work in Cork, and avail of other benefits such as WiFi, printing and community events. Plans are currently in place to hold quarterly events for tech start-ups, at the South Tipp hub in 2024.

Commenting on the fact that Republic of Work Clonmel is celebrating a year in existence, CEO Frank Brennan said: "We were absolutely delighted to be in a position to expand our offering to Tipperary in late 2022. There are so many entrepreneurs in the Tipperary area who want to enjoy the benefits of regional living and support the local economy, but at the same time seek the collegial support of other entrepreneurs in an office environment.

"Republic of Work offers all of that and more for small businesses, and we’ve been particularly heartened to see such a huge variety of industry at our Clonmel office, from service providers to radio, to marketing and to university education. One of our goals at Republic of Work is to strengthen the start-up ecosystem right across the South East of Ireland."

Michael O'Dwyer, CEO of SwiftComply, a solutions provider for water utilities, is a current member of Republic of Work Clonmel: "Finding this coworking space in Clonmel has been quite beneficial for my work. The fast WiFi here is a lifesaver for a company like mine, who relies heavily on a solid internet connection.

"The offices are nice and comfortable which makes longer working hours a breeze. Being in the centre of town is perfect for networking and grabbing a quick bite between meetings too. I would recommend it to anyone looking to try out a new workspace in the area."
