Are you looking to reignite your love of Irish? Then this FREE event is for you!

The Fiantas Collective would like to give those who attend ‘Ag Teacht Abhaile’ an opportunity to experience our living language outside of the classroom or the Gaeltacht.

The Fiantas Collective in collaboration with Creative Ireland invites you to attend ‘Ag Teacht Abhaile’ for a Féile na Gaeilge this bank holiday weekend.

The FREE event, which takes place on Saturday, October 26 at Jim of the Mills, Upperchurch, aims to both celebrate and encourage the use of our native Irish language.

The Collective would like to give those who attend an opportunity to experience our living language outside of the classroom or the Gaeltacht.

Participants will be invited to revisit their relationship with the language and to reimagine ourselves as a bilingual nation.

‘Ag Teacht Abhaile’ takes place at Jim of the Mills, Upperchurch

The FREE evening will begin at 5pm and will comprise of a series of fun, interactive workshops and activities as Béarla agus as Gaeilge. There will be talks, tea, damhsa, wordplay, craic agus ceol.

This event is for those who want an opportunity to speak whatever Irish they have, those who would like to reawaken to our teanga nádúr in a new way, and for those who are brand new to Irish.
