There are three changes on the Tipperary team for tomorrow’s Tailteann Cup game with Waterford at Páirc Uí Chaoimh (1 pm).
James Morris (Clonmel Commercials), Teddy Doyle (Ballina) and Darragh Brennan (Ballyporeen) will start, replacing Willie Eviston, Paudie Feehan and Stephen Quirke from the team which played against Down in Thurles a fortnight ago.
Tomorrow will see starting debuts for both James Morris (who came on as a sub against Down) and for Darragh Brennan.
Having lost both their Tailteann Cup games to Meath and Down, Tipperary will be anxious to conclude their round-robin games with a win against neighbours Waterford. It would take an unlikely sequence of results from this game and other games to see Tipperary advance to the knockout stages of the competition.
The Tipperary team and subs for the game is as follows:
Tipperary:
Michael O’Reilly (Clonmel Commercials), Shane O’Connell (Capt., Golden/Kilfeacle), Jimmy Feehan (Killenaule), Colm O’Shaugnessy (Ardfinnan), Kevin Fahey (Clonmel Commercials), Colman Kennedy (Clonmel Commercials), James Morris (Clonmel Commercials), Mark Russell (Aherlow), Conal Kennedy (Clonmel Commercials), Emmet Moloney (Drom/Inch), Jack Kennedy (Clonmel Commercials), Luke Boland (Moyle Rovers), Teddy Doyle (Ballina), Sean O’Connor (Clonmel Commercials), Darragh Brennan (Ballyporeen).
Subs: Cian O’Mahony (Ardfinnan), Dean Carew (Upperchurch/Drombane), Rory Collins (Moyle Rovers), Willie Eviston (Loughmore/Castleiney), Paudie Feehan (Killenaule), Donough Leahy (Arravale Rovers), Jack Nevin (JK Brackens), Mikey O’Shea (CJ Kickhams, Mullinahone), Eoghan Power (Ballina), Stephen Quirke (Moyle Rovers), Keith Ryan (Upperchurch/Drombane).
