Robcour, which is owned by Clonmel businessman Brian Acheson and his family, enjoyed a double at the Leopardstown Racing Festival today.

Music of Tara got the ball rolling in the Irish Daily Star Handicap Hurdle.

The 7/2 favourite, which is trained by Henry de Bromhead, was ridden by Killenaule jockey Rachael Blackmore.

They followed that up when Irish Point was a very impressive winner of the Grade 1 Jack de Bromhead Christmas Hurdle.

The even-money favourite is trained by Gordon Elliot and was ridden by Jack Kennedy.

However Robcour's Gerri Colombe, which is being aimed at the Cheltenham Gold Cup in March, came unstuck in the feature race of the day, the Savills Chase. The four-time Grade 1 winner finished a distant second to the Willie Muillins-trained Galopin Des Champs, the runaway winner who was 23 lengths clear of Gerri Colombe at the finishing post.

The Leopardstown Festival continues tomorrow.
