Tipperary-trained horse holds entry in Irish Grand National

Angels Dawn and Pa King won The Fulke Walwyn Kim Muir Challenge Cup Amateur Jockeys´ Handicap Chase (Class 2) for trainer Sam Curling at Cheltenham last year

The entries for the BoyleSports Irish Grand National at Fairyhouse on Easter Monday, April 1 have been revealed.

A total of 64 horses have been entered for Ireland’s richest jumps race and the weights for the historic €500,000 handicap chase will be announced on Tuesday, March 19.

The entries include Angels Dawn, who could have another tilt at the race after finishing sixth a year ago on the back of her Cheltenham Festival victory for Goolds Cross, Cashel-based trainer Sam Curling.

Angels Dawn could also bid for a repeat win in the Fulke Walwyn Kim Muir Handicap Chase at Cheltenham next Thursday, after winning the race twelve months ago.
