Tipperary had a major interest in the first winner at today's Cheltenham Festival when Slade Steel won the Sky Bet Supreme Novices' Hurdle.
The horse was ridden by Killenaule jockey Rachael Blackmore and races in the colours of Robcour, which is owned by Clonmel businessman Brian Acheson and his family.
Slade Steel, which is trained by Henry de Bromhead, was returned at odds of 7/2.
Mystical Power was second at 100/30 while Firefox was third at 11/2.
