The county roads championship season began with a bang last weekend with the novice 3k for ladies and 6k for men hosted by Moyne AC in their home village of Moyne, mid Tipperary.
Mooreabbey Milers AC had Deirdre Bailey, Patricia Ryan and Sarah Wingrove take to the start of the ladies 3k, while Damien Holian, Robert Cunningham, Dariusz Gazdowicz, Liam Lewis, Brian Carroll and Padraig Wallace competed in the men's 6k.
Mooreabbey's ladies finished sixth club team while the men finished seventh club team.
