The Liam Enright Golf Classic will be held on Friday, July 5 at Cahir Park Golf Club
The Liam Enright Golf Classic will be held on Friday, July 5 at Cahir Park Golf Club between 8 am and 4 pm.
Booking and time sheet for the event are now open. You can book your tee time by contacting the club at 052 7441474 or Jim Conran at 089 2279957.
The format for the competition is four-person full scramble with entry fee of €200 per team (goodie bag included at start). If unable to play, you can sponsor a tee box at €50.
The maximum handicap for the Liam Enright Classic will be Men 20 and Ladies 30.
Prizes on the day: Top 3 teams, Longest Drive, Nearest the Pin for both men and women. There will also be a special Hole-In-One competition (€5 entry) on the course.
And we’ll round it all off with refreshments, raffle and sports memorabilia with live music at Cahir House Hotel from 9.30 pm on the Friday evening.
Liam Enright is a very popular man locally, and a former Tipperary hurler who also represented his county in the Poc Fada, who is very ill at present. The event is being run to raise funds for his care and family.
