Two Tipperary players are included in the Irish women's rugby team to play Australia in Saturday’s 150th Anniversary Test against at Kingspan Stadium in Belfast (kick-off 2.30pm).

Fethard's Dorothy Wall, who now plays her club rugby with Exeter Chiefs, will earn her 29th cap when she partners debutant Ruth Campbell in the engine room.

Meanwhile Aimee-Leigh Murphy Crowe from Tipperary Town, who played with the Irish Sevens team at the Paris Olympics, makes her first appearance for the full Irish team since 2022.

The Railway Union winger will earn her tenth cap.

To celebrate Irish Rugby’s 150th anniversary, Ireland will wear a specially produced one-off jersey, in association with Canterbury.

The match will be shown live on TG4 and TG4.ie.
