Tipperary Sports Partnership were delighted to showcase an energetic morning of athletics in the fantastic TUS Clonmel Regional Sports Hub, as part of the European Week of Sport, in collaboration with Clonmel Athletic Club.
The event brought together groups from the National Learning Network, Brothers of Charity and Knocklofty Rehab Care, providing them with a unique opportunity to participate in various athletic activities alongside members of Clonmel Athletic Club.
The atmosphere was filled with excitement and enthusiasm as participants engaged in a range of activities designed to promote physical fitness and community spirit.
Each participant was thrilled to receive a medal, a token of recognition for their efforts and participation. The joy and pride on their faces was truly heartwarming.
One of the highlights of the day was the chance for participants to try out sports wheelchairs and handcycles on the track.
This experience proved to be a big hit, offering a new and exhilarating way for everyone to enjoy the sport. The inclusive nature of the event ensured that everyone, regardless of their abilities, could take part and have fun.
