Philips Lighting have named horse trainer Joseph O’Brien as Manager of the Month for November 2017.
On 7th November his horse Rekindling came with a late surge to beat two other Irish trained horses to claim the Emirates Melbourne Cup for the first time.
The victory provided the biggest win of 24- year old Joseph O’Brien’s career so far.
His father Aidan is a previous winner of the monthly award.
