Feast of football and hurling as four South Tipperary finals down for decision

The South Tipperary GAA Board have a busy fortnight ahead with no less than four divisional finals down for decision, two on Sunday week, 22nd July, and another pair of finals the following Sunday, 29th July.

With eight different clubs involved over the two days, GAA followers can look forward to some decent games ahead.

The first of the two double bill programmes goes ahead at Clonmel Sportsfield on Sunday next, 22nd July with the Minor ‘A’ Football Final at 5 pm when Cahir will come up against the combination team of Clonmel Og/Ballyporeen.

This game will be followed by the Senior Hurling Final at 7 pm when neighbours Mullinahone and Killenaule go head to head once again for the South title.

On Sunday, 29th July at Monroe, the Intermediate Hurling and Football finals will be decided.

In intermediate hurling Ballybacon/Grange will oppose Carrick Davins.

In intermediate football Clogheen side Fr. Sheehy’s will take on the reigning champions, Clonmel Og.
