Congratulations to Bernie Doyle who defeated Eoin Quinlan in the final of the Micky Kennedy cup in Templemore last weekend.

Doyle proved stronger over the best of five frames to claim the cup with a 3-1 victory. Thanks to Sean O’Shea who refereed the final.

Best of luck to the two club teams who will compete in the Munster championships which commence in Killarney this week and will run until Sunday.

In an effort to revive local juvenile interest in the sport the club is currently open every second Saturday afternoon from 2-5pm for children aged between 10 and 14.

It doesn’t matter if you never held a cue before as there are coaches on hand to show you the ropes and get you started.

Juvenile membership of the club is just €10 for the year and represents great value in a clean, warm and fully supervised hall.
