Vital charity funds raised by Tipperary school from dodgeball competition

Last week, Our Lady's Secondary School, Templemore, launched the school’s annual Dodgeball competition, a thrilling event aimed at raising funds for Mary’s Meals.

Our Lady’s Templemore has a special partnership with a secondary school in Madziabango, Malawi, and the proceeds from this event will go towards providing much-needed porridge for the students there.

The dodgeball match was an exciting spectacle, played at an incredibly fast pace, showcasing remarkable skill and determination.

All four 5th Year religion classes faced off against each other in a fierce competition.

The winning team then went head-to-head with a team of teachers who demonstrated impressive speed and agility.

Despite their brave effort, the teachers were ultimately defeated by the student team, led by captain Conor Harkins.

This event was part of our John Paul II Programme, which sees over 100 students actively involved at the school.
